Can you resurface an existing pool deck instead of tearing it out?

Yes. Knockdown texture and stamped overlays go over sound existing concrete, which is why the deck in the photo above carries a new terracotta finish and an integrated drain without a full replacement.

Will a concrete pool deck get too hot to walk on?

Surface texture and colour both matter. Knockdown texture breaks up the surface and lighter colours hold less heat than dark ones — we will walk the options with you on site before anything is poured.

Do you handle drainage?

Yes. Deck drains and slope are set before the pour, not added afterwards — on a Florida pool deck that is the difference between water leaving the deck and water sitting on it.
